Entity Modeling

Entity Modeling

Video duration 44:24

This module introduces the concept of an entity and its central role in applications, along with the use of the Entity Modeler to represent entities within the platform as they are perceived in the real world. Participants learn to model entities visually by dragging and dropping elements that define their structure and behavior.
The module covers how to model the fields that make up an entity, their data types, validations, and relationships, as well as how to arrange these fields in grids and configure filters to simplify information management.
It also introduces Diana, which enables users to define and generate entities conversationally from natural language descriptions of the business. The AI assistant helps the modeler by proposing consistent data structures aligned with Deyel best practices and the functional model of the application.
Participants thus gain a solid foundation for building robust, scalable data models that directly address real business needs.
