Type of Redirection
The properties Singular Redirection Type and Plural Redirection Type allow the interface to dynamically determine how it interacts based on the number of related instances available at runtime.
•Singular Scenario: This applies when the current entity is related to exactly one instance.
•Plural Scenario: This applies when the current entity has two or more related instances.
This distinction allows the application's visual behavior to be adapted as the volume of associated data varies throughout the workflow.
The value selected in the combo box Type of Redirection automatically filters the list of available options in the corresponding Target Element property (Singular or Plural).
Singular Redirection Type
Determines the display mode when there is only one related instance, offering different options for presenting the information.
•Same Tab: Reloads the current browser page to display the selected entity in the navigation.
•New Window: Opens a new tab or window in the web browser with the related instance.
•Modal: Expands a standard platform popup window to display details of the related instance without leaving the current context.
•Iframe: It allows loading the entity within a pre-existing Iframe element in the interface. By selecting this option, the Singular Target Element property displays the Iframe type elements configured in the entity.
•Grid Section: Displays the instance within the standard section configured for the relation element.
•Grid Element: It allows the grid to be rendered and displayed within any UI container, item, or section. This option provides more flexible modeling, as it does not restrict the presentation of the instance to a rigid section, allowing the relation element view to be placed anywhere in the interface.
Plural Redirection Type
Configures the behavior when multiple related instances exist.
Its options work identically to those of Singular Redirection (Same Tab, New Window, Modal, Iframe, Grid Section), with one fundamental distinction
Unlike the singular mode, the plural scenario does not provide the Grid Item option, as it is equivalent to the Grid Section option. In plural redirection, the interface always displays a data grid as the main content, allowing users to navigate and interact with the complete list of returned instances.
