Execution Behavior
During application execution, the relation navigation element dynamically evaluates the context, instance state, and user permissions to determine its visibility and presentation.
•Automatic menu hiding: If, due to context or permission restrictions, none of the options configured in the menu are accessible to the user, the menu element is not displayed on the screen.
•Hidden in creation modes: A typical case occurs when a new instance is created. Since the instance has not yet been saved or created in the database, its relations cannot be calculated, so the navigation menu is automatically hidden.
•Filter by security permissions: If a user does not have the required security permissions to show or access instances of a specific business entity or target element, that option is not displayed the user’s menu.
•Dynamic instance counter: For related entity entries, the interface automatically displays a counter showing the number of linked instances. This value cannot be parameterized in the modeler; the platform calculates it in real time during execution and positions the numeric indicator to the right of the relation name or label.
