Documentation 9.3

A previous action enables to perform an operation before carrying out the navigation configured in a hyperlink. This functionality allows the performance of actions on entities or rules, such as building, modifying or deleting information, or executing advanced business rules.

When a hyperlink with a configured previous action is selected, the system first executes the defined action. Once the action is completed successfully, the system navigates to the destination configured in the hyperlink.

Possible Values

Rule

Each type of previous action has specific configurations and parameters.

Considerations

Previous actions are always executed before the navigation associated with the hyperlink.

Output parameters allow the information generated during the execution of the action to be reused.

In entity actions, fields belonging to iterative structures only accept values from elements located in repeaters or tables.

In rule actions, input and output parameters of list or array type only support the association of elements of repeater or table type.

To use a rule as a pre-action, execution through the REST API must be enabled for the rule.
